Official Statement from The Patriarch Of The Celtic Cross Communion
Greetings of Peace to all!
Happy Feast of The Corpus Christi!
This is to inform all Member Churches, Followers and Friends that effective immediately, His Excellency Archbishop Nicholas Cocchiaro, Her Excellency Archbishop Rita Strugala, Bishop Carl Pappalardo and Reverend Mother Eri Suri and the newly ordained Deacons and Clergy this year will moved on to establish their own Independent Old Catholic Church and will be no longer a part of the Celtic Cross Old Catholic Church in particular and The Celtic Cross Communion in General. The only ones who will remain to represent the Catholic Branch is Archbishop Miguel Dongil Y Sanchez, Reverend Fr Christopher luzgano, Brother Zabiullah Samiullah and Seminarian Jonathan K Rolden. The group of Archbishop Nicholas Cocchiaro may gracefully exit from the Celtic Cross Communion and establish their own Church as Archbishop Nicholas deem it to be and come up with their own Canons. This agreement has been discussed with Archbishop Nicholas Cocchiaro via Telephone Conversation today.
In behalf of the Celtic Cross Communion International would like to express our gratitude to Archbishop Nicholas and his group for their great ministry and service to God’s people via Social media. May God bless and direct them as they make a new beginning together as a new Church group for the service of God’s kingdom and holy people.
Before I end, let us together read and reflect on the following:
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.”
(Taken from The Book of Ecclesiastes, 3:1-8)
May God bless you all and keep you!
Most Sincerely Yours,
++Archbishop Benito P Sagra
